The 2013 CRF450R is a great bike in most areas, but the engine department needs help along with the extra weight the dual exhaust carries. The DR.D system does just that, it trims nearly 3 full pounds off as it is the lightest exhaust system on the market at 7.9pds in stainless steel/carbon fiber. Our Titanium? It is even lighter. The performance increase will be slightly better off the bottom, carrying into a strong mid and continuing to pull farther than the stock unit on top.
Thanks to all of the companies who partcipated in turning a stock CRF450 into a race ready machine:

Motocross Action Magazine held a dual pipe shootout on the 2013 CRF450 that featured in the March 2013 issue. The DR.D dual was the quietest exhaust (meeting sound regulations) and also the lightest exhaust. The system was a Stainless Steel/Carbon version. DR.D was the only company not to use a titanium head pipe/ mid pipe (which we do offer) and still reduced the most weight when compared to a stock system.

Dubach Racing Development (DR.D) is proud to announce the signing of Josh Strang to compete in the 2013 GNCC series aboard a Kawasaki KX450F. No stranger to winning, the Australian was the 2010 GNCC champion and is looking to add another championship to his resume. The opening round will be held in River Ranch, Florida on March 9th.
The GNCC is the biggest off-road racing series in the United States and Josh will rely on the new DR.D NS-4 exhaust system to meet his performance needs. “I’m excited to work alongside DR.D for this year’s GNCC series. With such late notice, I appreciate the support they have given me and can’t wait to start winning races” mentions Strang regarding his 2013 campaign.
